Bath Abbey - FOOTPRINT CAMPAIGN

Consultancy to help the organisation understand the impact of a major fundraising campaign, to develop the Fundraising Case for Support, set-up the Campaign Board and recruit the Development Director

BATH ABBEY FOOTPRINT is a £20 million programme of capital works and interpretation including:

• Stabilising the ground beneath the Abbey floor

• Tapping into Bath’s greatest natural resource and heating the Abbey  using energy from the hot springs• Installing energy efficient lighting and new staging

• Opening a new Song School

• Creating 200 square metres of new space to provide a contemporary interpretation centre which will act as the hub for projects and activities displayed throughout the Abbey

Valentine's work on our Ambassador Programme helped to bring the trustees and key supporters closer to the charity and gave clarity to the new fundraising initiative.  They were involved in developing the materials and their input and feedback helped us produce a fundraising idea that everyone can go out and promote.  What was also really great is we signed up 5 Ambassadors along the way!
